Content Creator Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Yes — make videos of Creation, stream it, and make money doing it. You don't need our permission, you don't owe us a share, and you don't need to ask. This page exists so you never have to wonder.

What you may do

You may record, stream, broadcast, and publish video, audio, and screenshots of Creation, and you may monetize that content however your platform allows — advertising revenue, sponsorships, channel subscriptions and memberships, tips and donations, Patreon, and paid video services all included. This applies to everyone equally, whatever the size of your audience.

We will not issue copyright claims or takedowns against content that follows this policy. If something of ours is ever claimed against your video in error, email us and we'll sort it out.

Our name, logo, and art

You may use the name "Creation," our logo, and screenshots or key art from the game to identify the game in your titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and channel art for the videos this policy covers. You may not use them as your own branding — a channel name, a product name, a logo of your own — or in any way suggesting we sponsor, endorse, or are partnered with you when we aren't.

Our press kit has assets for exactly this. Take what you need.

Where this stops

The permission above is for content about the game. It isn't a licence to hand out the game or the pieces it's built from. So please don't:

Fan creations

Fan art, fan fiction, guides, wikis, videos about the lore, and mods you've made — all welcome, and we're glad when they exist. Share them freely. Selling physical or digital merchandise built on our name, characters, or art is a different thing, and needs our permission first: email us and tell us what you have in mind.

Mods and servers have their own rules

Showing off a mod, or streaming from a server you run, is covered by this page like any other footage. What you may do with the mod or theserver itself is answered elsewhere — the mod policy and the server hosting policy both ship with the game, and the game's End User License Agreement governs both.

Early builds and review keys

The game is in closed alpha, and pre-release builds are covered by this policy the same as any other — record and stream the alpha if you're in it. The one exception is when we ask for something specific: if we send you a key or an early build with an embargo date attached, we'll say so plainly at the time, and we'd ask you to honor it. We won't spring one on you after the fact.

Do bear in mind that an alpha is an alpha. Things are unfinished, art is placeholder, and the build you're showing may not resemble the finished game.

The fine print

This policy is a permission we grant, not a contract or a partnership, and it creates no relationship between us beyond what it says. We may change it as the game and the platforms change — but a change won't reach back and make content you already published a violation. In the rare case someone abuses this permission, we may withdraw it from that person specifically. Everything here sits alongside the game's End User License Agreement and ourTerms of Use, and doesn't replace either.
